Hindås Train Station was built in 1907, and has since 1997 been used as a cultural center for the public. The center, which is driven by a NPO, is home for various activities, such as concerts, art-classes, and theater groups for children. This is the only public building in the village and a very important gathering place for people with different culture and backgrounds. The building, with its’ copper green ceramic tile roof, is a landmark in Hindås, with both its’ exterior and interior taking you back to when it was first built.
